PGP Desktop boot error

I need a solution

After PGP Desktop installation and encryption, I receive boot error "Some required files are missing or corrupted."  Neither user or administrative passphrases are accepted when attempting to boot from system's boot disk.  I can boot using a recovery disk through any of the PGP accounts on the system.  System details are:

HP EliteBook 850 G1

Windows 7 Pro

HP Client Security removed

PGP Desktop 10.2.1.4461 initially.  Now upgraded to 10.3.1.13100 (did not help)

Symantec Endpoint Protection (12.1.4100.4126)

Disk has MBR file partitions not GPT

No problem booting from recovery disk.
