I have a client with Windows 7 Home Premium and Internet Explorer 11 (yes yes I know)
He can sign in, see messages and attchments but the attachments (typically PDFs or TIF files) cannot be saved.
the files show a long string of numbers after the file extension, and the browser won't let the file be saved.
The browser has the site added to trusted sites and is viewed in Compatability which works on every other computer I have tested it on. I cleared out temp files and started IE 11 with add-ons disabled. No difference is this behavior.
The files can be downloaded in Chrome and the string of text is not apparent. The user is not very technically adept so changing his default browser to Chrome is not appropriate.
thanks for any input, even ironic.as long as it is funny.
